A home where education knows no barriers.
Idial Society for Visually Impaired is a hostel that has been serving visually impaired college-going girls since 2013. For many of the girls who live here, coming to a new city for studies can be difficult — especially without a safe and suitable place to stay.
Our hostel provides essential boarding and feeding facilities, giving each girl a supportive place to live while she continues her education. It runs entirely with the support of public donations and the generosity of people who believe in equal opportunity and education for all.
These contributions help us provide the basic facilities and support that let the girls focus on their studies and work toward a better future.
The hostel was established by Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mahto, with the aim of supporting blind girls who travel to Delhi from different states to pursue their education.
Our Mission & Vision
A safe place to live and learn.
To provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment for visually impaired girls pursuing higher education — helping them move toward greater confidence, education, and independence.
A future without barriers.
We envision a future where visual impairment does not stand in the way of education or personal growth. We strive to support every girl in achieving her educational goals and building an independent, dignified future.
Together, we can make a difference.
Every girl deserves the opportunity to study, grow, and build her future. With the continued support of the public, we can keep providing a safe home and essential facilities to visually impaired girls pursuing their dreams in Delhi.
